Children, fear and parenting

Children, fear and parenting

I am a child.

My name is Frank.

I am scared, very scared.

What a shock being born!

But a couple of guys feed me. Good news!

It seems fine.

But I am still so scared.

I am crying because I am hungry and nobody comes to feed me.

It is horrifying!

How do I get food now! I am starving! I know it! I can’t even move!

Everything is against me!

Where are those two guys?

Here they come!

I’m getting some food finally!

The guys seem to give me food sooner or later.

I drop a thing, I don’t know what it is.

I want to see what happens. I’m curious, you know, I am a child.

Hey! Now they are shouting at me!

They hit me!

I’m terrified!

Will they feed me again? Will they leave me to starve?

They shout at me that I will go to bed without dinner!

I’m lost! They don’t feed me! I’m starving. I’m dying!

What can I do? I see a child out of the window, in another home. Can I go there? Do they feed children there?

Fear is the natural psychological state children live in.

Mother Nature provides them with it to make sure that they don’t leave and go wandering around pretending that they can survive.

What do you think this may have to do with parenting?
